This painting above which depicts some of FL's wildlife was created by folk artist Martha Stevenson who lives part time in Vermont and Venice, FL.  We have 5" x 4" note cards available and 20" x 16" canvases available of that art for purchase.  Please refer to our Fundraising Store page and/or contact us for more information!

North Port Friends of Wildlife is a chapter of Friends of Sarasota County Parks (FOSCP). NPFOWL was founded in 2014 by individuals who, in light of North Port’s fast paced growth, felt wildlife and wildlife habitat needed protection. The goal of NPFOWL is to educate and encourage the community, developers and government officials to protect our wildlife and natural resources - trees, air and water. North Port has an abundance of these , which should be protected for future generations. NPFOWL believes with the city’s unique natural environment,  North Port has the potential to become an eco - destination of Sarasota County and Florida.
