North Port Friends of Wildlife is a chapter of Friends of Sarasota County Parks (FOSCP). NPFOWL was founded in 2014 by individuals who, in light of North Port’s fast paced growth, felt wildlife and wildlife habitat needed protection. The goal of NPFOWL is to educate and encourage the community, developers and government officials to protect our wildlife and natural resources - trees, air and water. North Port has an abundance of these , which should be protected for future generations.
