Did You Know?  It is OK to move a gopher tortoise across the road if you see it's crossing a road and in harm's way. Please be sure to move it in the direction it was headed. We ask that you of course be careful! Never put yourself in danger. And please never put gopher tortoises in water.  They only live on land.
